2025 was the last crop of kids from our outstanding buck, Pest. We retained four doelings from that crop and we look forward to continuing the Pest line through them and their older sisters.

We bred four of our does to a tall, narrow Alpine buck from a local dairy herd and we look forward to seeing his kids this spring. Three of the does are Pest daughters, and the other is Sadie, our most outstanding packgoat producer. Keeping our fingers crossed for boys this year!

We maintain a CAE/CL/Johnes negative herd (tests available upon request).

"I'm being followed by a Moonshadow" is this guy's theme song! Moonshado (a.k.a. "Pest") is one of the most in-your-pocket goats I have ever met. He craves human attention and is bold and fearless but not aggressive. However, given his comfort level around people, we have been very careful not to over-encourage his bids for attention. "Pest" passes his boldness and his friendly, outgoing nature along with his outstanding conformation to his kids. Pest has amazing packgoat conformation and was chosen specifically for this trait. I don't usually keep bucks this long, but I can't give up these genetics!
